CHAT

Community Health Access Team (CHAT) is a program funded by the Allegany Franciscan Ministry, which promotes access to health care to farmworkers. The program was designed following the framework of a nationally recognized health program called “Promotoras”; in which peer health educators conduct outreach activities among farmworkers to promote healthy behavior and access to services. CHAT is available in both offices, Lake Worth and Belle Glade.
